You can pay the program fee through Wire transfer, Western Union Money Transfer, cash installments on and after arrival or using your credit or debit card or PayPal care of 2Checkout Inc.


Please note: A commitment deposit of US$35 is payable after your application has been processed and a placement found for you. This deposit is part of the total fee payable. After paying the deposit, we send you our very useful VOLUNTEERS INFO PACK as well as grant you access to the members-only area of this website.

What the program fee covers

  • Airport pickup
  • First day's hotel accommodation & food in Accra
  • Orientation program
  • Local cell phone with IDD capability (returnable)
  • Transfer to your program site (healthcare volunteers - by air; other volunteers - by car)
  • Accommodation at or near your program location
  • Daily meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • 24/7 in-country local staff support
  • Airport drop-off

Not Covered:

  • Transportation to and from Ghana
  • Visa fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Other personal expenses like bottled water and souvenirs

How to pay the program fee
You can pay the program fee through any one of the following means:

  1. By Wire Transfer through your bank.
  2. Through Western Union Money Transfer - using your debit or credit card securely online or by phone.
  3. Cash installments (or full payment) upon arrival in Ghana.
